Hey Everyone,

I was recently contacted by Rick Wilking's with Reuters.com and he was hoping to do a story on people of size who are comfortable with themselves and accept the skin they are in.

I really believe that we all have an opinion and that each of us have a right to share it.

So from the words of Rick this is what he wrote for you
"A brief description of the project is here:
-------
"I am Reuters Newspictures photographer based in Denver. I am hoping you are familiar with Reuters but if not we are the world's largest international news agency with media clients all over the world. In the US some examples are USA Today, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, TIME magazine.

Our website is www.reuters.com.

I am doing a long term photo documentary on plus size people in America and
would very much like to include a photo story on Gabi and some back info on the size acceptance community. Especially those who are considered plus-size by some peoples standards."

So I thought it was only right to reach out, to you, both men and women and show that size acceptance comes in all shapes, sizes and colors and that we all have opinions that we would like to share with the world.

So if you are comfortable with sharing and you don't mind me sharing your thoughts with Rick, I would really like to share other's thoughts on size acceptance, being a person of size, misconceptions that you have heard or have been apart of.

If you are open to it, I want you to share your thoughts and input and really have a voice in the media that is willing to listen to you and those who are apart of the size acceptance or fat community.

By sharing your opinion's, they may or may not be included in this story, however there is no compensation that is being provided for me or anyone else on this story, because one doesn't pay for real news.

Please do share your opinions and at least someone from a very large new organization is listening to what you have to say!

Rick is wanting to have this done by the end of April 22, 2010 so that he can have this story and photo documentary posted as early as late April/early May.

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Gabi
