Due to an error in the database we had to rollback a backup copy and lost 3-4 days worth of posts since the backup was made.

Everything should be back to normal now though.

Maybe its just me BUT it seems more like 3 MONTHS worth has been lost...

Yes I agree
The posts start at September so I too think 3 moths have been lost somewhere

yes your right i have the missing backup file, only problem is i am unsure if its worth adding as then we will get back old stuff but lose new stuff. I am trying to see if i can just import the missing data but its hard seeing as the database is over 800mb big and not really easy to work with :(

Time will tell..

Backup the new one restore the old one and add the new backup to the old restored database :) Is it MySQL?

Yes but its over 880mb and phpmyadmins limit is 300mb upload, plus the file would have to be edited to not drop the current one and just add the missing data ;(

Editing the file is the problem. Nothing wants to load it and let me manipulate it well.  Tried notepad, wordpad, word, excel, they all tend to lock up and time out with such a big file.

Sent you a PM, with some suggestions to help with your SQL issues, I hope it helps!
