You know it amazes me every time when someone wants to book a session that they don’t want to leave a deposit.  I find it quite strange that I am expected to take my money out of my pocket to cover expenses for a session that could possibly not occur.

I started squashing in 2002 it is now 2008 In 6 years I have learned a lot in this business. ONE BEING it is a business.  I have traveled to fans who said PLEASE I JUST WANT TO MEET YOU.  Let me take you to lunch or dinner.  To be left standing in the street or restaurant for 2-3 hours and no one showing up.  I have traveled to numerous locations for sessions that were booked with out deposits to be told "I changed my mind."  "Oh I don’t have the money."  "I only have 100.00 dollars on me." (When they booked a 300.00 session) "My wife or daughter or whatever travel companion that they came with is here." "I didn’t get a hotel room can we go to my place."   I have even traveled out to session locations and was left in the parking lot with no returns to my calls.  I have accepted money transfers that were on hold and then revoked after the session so yes i got half of the session money.  But not the full amount.  Which means I didn’t get paid properly.

A lot goes into a session, I have to have my 3rd party driver whoever it is must schedule themselves accordingly and many times that means taking off work.  Even if they don’t take off work they must be paid for there time IN ADVANCE.  Am I supposed to pay them out of my pocket for a session that may or may not take place?  No that is what deposits are for.

If the session is a double or triple session.  The ladies must also be paid IN ADVANCE!  Their traveling expenses cover etc.  Am I supposed to pay for that out of my pocket?  NO the deposit handles that.

Lets say there is some unforeseen circumstance that prevents you from having your session.  What if i traveled all the way out to you and then something occurs and you don’t go through with the session.  I still have to be paid for my time for my 3rd parties time.  For the other ladies time.

I don’t understand why people don’t understand that this business is about time.  If you take my time you take my money and you want me to go out on the limb and spend my money for you to get your dream to be squashed and wrestled.  You cant go into a store and say.  Please deliver this item to me but I am not paying for it upfront or leaving a deposit.  Just bring it to me and I will have cash.  I DONT WORK BY COD Queen Raqui is not a CASH ON DELIVER WOMAN.  You MUST GIVE A DEPOSIT for the service you want.  It doesn’t matter if your half way across the world.  I have had people from all types of countries send me money orders for videos, deposits and purchases through my website.  Why is it so hard to make a deposit?  All you have to do is use a credit card, go to your local bank or post office make a money order and send it over night.  It doesnt cost that much to over night a money order.  Compared to the fact that you are getting your dream here.  what is 7 or maybe 14 dollars to over night your deposit?

SO NOTE THERE IS NO EXCEPTIONS weather you have had a session 1 time or 100 times.  Deposit is MANDITORY!  The fact that someone would insist on not sending a deposit is a red flag for me.  It also shows that you have no respect for me as a business woman.  Someone who is fulfilling YOUR DREAM, someone who is dedicating time TO YOU!
